i finished that book.

i mostly loved it. yes, i loved it. but i hated it, i really hated it.

anyway, don't read on if you don't want spoilers.

i hated how the Capitol hijacked Peeta, ahh i hated that.
it almost ruined the book for me.

he should've been there with Katniss being his normal self, leading the rebellion.

the whole book i couldn't get over that.
but for those few moments when he would remember how much he cared about Katniss i was happy.
like when he remembered her favorite soup.

at least they end up together and he slowly becomes normal again.

Gale slowly became more and more annoying to me, him and his lust for spilling blood.

when Finnick died i cried. and Boggs, i liked him.

did a lot of the book seem confusing to anyone else?

and i really hated how Katniss went into such hardcore depression after Prim died and after shooting President Coin.

when she turned her bow and shot Coin...WHOOA!

Prim dying was the worst though, she was so innocent.

it's like when Fred dies in The Deathly Hallows.
all in all i was dissapointed at a lot of things, but it all goes together in the end. mostly.
i still liked it though, it's one of those things you just have to like.

my mind will continue to be consumed with that book and fictional characters for the rest of the day. trying to clear up any of the confusion, most likely start reading the whole series over again. the first two were so dang good, but Mockingjay was pretty good. very intense.

In the wee hours of the night last night, i did one of the hardest things i have ever done.
